Meet-a-Mentor Schedule

Time

10:00 AM

Gesture and Language Development Lab

"One thing undergraduate students should know about doing research with me/my group is that we welcome anyone looking for some experience in the research process. We focus primarily on gesture and language development in English, French, Mandarin, Spanish, and Farsi. Our lab welcomes anyone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn!"

11:00 AM

Dr. Kristi Baker

"One thing undergraduate students should know about doing research with me/my group is.that you will only get out of the experience what you invest in it. Good science requires dedication and hard work and is not something that you can just fit in to a few spare hours a week. If you want to experience the real deal, you will need to be prepared to do the background reading, work hard, and ask a lot of questions."

12:00 PM

CANHelp Working Group

"One thing undergraduate students should know about doing research with the CANHelp Working Group is that researchers and community members learn from one another."

1:00 PM

2:00 PM

Campus as a Living Lab

“One thing undergraduate students should know about doing research with the Office of Sustainability is that it can be the first step in a sustainability focused research career or becoming connected to sustainability initiatives on campus and integrating sustainability into your academic life.”
